I was born in Padua in 1976, where I got a Master Degree in History and Critic of Cinema in 2000 with Professor Giorgio Tinazzi.
In 2001 I got a Master Degree in Teaching Italian as a second language at the University of Padua, I got the chance to teach Italian at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (USA) and at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Prague. In 2007 I attended drawing classes of the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design of Prague.
One of my main interests is illustration: from 2013 to 2015 I studied children illustration with Arcadio Lobato, Svetlan Junaković, Maurizio Quarello, Carll Cneut at the International illustration school of Sàrmede (Treviso) and Ars in Fabula in Macerata.
From 2008 to 2016 I collaborated with children’s book publishing houses from Italy (Giunti, Terranuova) and from other countiers (Boxer Books, Oxford University Press, Paraclete, Tyndale, Learning AZ, Kar-Ben Publishing) for illustration projects. From 2015 to 2018 I worked for Astound illustrator agent from New York as an illustrator.
From 2013 I have been teaching illustration and drawing to children: both in Summer courses at Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Padua, and in workshops organized by bookshops and libraries in Padua and Rome.
Recently, I discovered intaglio: from 2016 to 2018 I studied intaglio at Scuola di arti e mestieri (Arts and Crafts School) of Rome with Maria Pina Bentivenga ed Elisabetta Diamanti, my interest soon focused on etching and artists books.
In 2018 I entered the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma where I attended Graphic Arts courses (intaglio, woodcut and letterpress) and I took part to different workshops: cyanotype, monotype and silk-screen printing (Else edizioni), letterpress (Betterpress lab). I got student grants for assistant collaboration in Intaglio and Woodcut courses and for Eu4 Art European Project.
In Summer 2019 I took part in a burin-on-copper course held by Koichi Yamamoto at Opificio della Rosa in Montefiore Conca (Rimini) where I also spent two weeks in an Arts Residency working in the printmaking studio.
In July 2021 I got a Master Degree in Graphic Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma with Professor Tania Campisi and Maria Pina Bentivenga with a work called Into the forest, an immersive installation with eleven etched trees, spotted lights and music.
I collaborate with Atelier Insigna studio and Opificio della Rosa Graphic Arts association as assistant in intaglio printing and in printmaking classes.
From December 2021 I am working as assistant technician in Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in Graphic Arts courses: Experimental Graphic Techniques, Graphic Arts and Silkscreen.
