Irene Di Oriente is an Italian illustrator and engraver born in 1995. After graduating at Liceo Artistico of Treviso, she graduated in 2018 in the course of Graphic Art at Academy of Fine Arts in Venice with the highest of the grades, and in 2021 she specialized in the Master Course of Graphic Art-Drawing, always in the same Academy and always with the highest of the grades.
She covered the role of illustration assistant for the teacher Marilena Nardi at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts from 2018 to 2020.
She is one of the members of the collective  “Collettivo BaldoBranco” whith whom she has participated in many exposures and various festivals in Italy and abroad.
Since 2013 she is a volunteer at the “Treviso Comic Book Festival” of which she has joined the executive staff in 2017. For the festival she collaborates in the artistic workshops for children performed at the library for children of Treviso (named BRAT)  and in primary schools; moreover she sets up exhibitions for the festival in foundations and museums in Treviso and Venice.
In addition, she was part of the associations "Selaluna" in Treviso and “Lab43-forprint” at Forte Marghera in Venice;  in the last one she assisted in engraving courses for children and adults with disabilities.
Her works have been exhibited both in Italy and abroad, she has created illustrations for online and paper magazines and has collaborated on collective projects related to the field of illustration and comics, with subsequent publishings or by publishing with crowdfunding initiatives.
