Francesca Marcolin was born in Padua (Italy) in 1984, where she currently lives and works.
She studied History, Archival Science and Paleography at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, getting her Master of Arts in 2015.
In the meantime she enrolled at the Fine Arts Academy of Venice where she got the Master of Arts in Printmaking in 2018, with the highest possible grade in the Italian system.
The same year, she carried out a four-months internship at the Pavillon - Presse typographic museum in Weimar (Germany), planning and executing printmaking workshops.
She works also as illustrator.
