Luciana Nespeca was born in Roccafluvione (AP) in the 26th of May 1949. She has got a diploma in Applied Arts in Urbino, then she has attended international courses of engraving technique and she has a degree in Sociology. She has been an engraving teacher in the State School of Ascoli Piceno. She is esteemed nationwide as a fine etcher.  She has exhibited her etchings in 50 solo exhibitions  and has participated in 180 remarkable exhibitions of black-and-white works, as well. She is the manager of the Saletta Rosa Spina art gallery since 1990.
