Marcolin Francesca



Francesca Marcolin was born in Padua in 1984.
She attended historical and archival courses, getting in 2010 the Diploma in Archival, Paleography and Diplomacy of the National Archive School of Venice, then in 2010 the Bachelor of Arts and in 2015 the Master of Arts at the Ca' Foscari University of the same city, with the highest possible grade in the Italian system.
In the meantime she continued her education in the graphic-artistic field, attending a six-month illustration course held by Octavia Monaco in Bologna, then enrolling at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she got the Master of Arts in Printmaking (with the highest possible grade in the Italian system) in 2018. The same year, she also did a four-month internship at the Pavillon-Presse typographic museum in Weimar (Germany), planning and executing printing workshops. She led another chalcography course in the same institution in 2019.
She works also as illustrator.
