Laura Allegro was born in 1992 in Camposampiero (PD).
After the high school diploma at the Modigliani artistic high school in Padua, she studied at the
Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she worked as tutor in the Decoration lab and where she
obtained the I and II level academy diploma.
She continued her training collaborating with Stamperia d’Arte Busato (Busato art print house) in
Vicenza, deepening the graphic techniques.
Since 2018 she has worked as art teacher at a private institute and opened Allegro Atelier, a
laboratory and gallery of her artwork in Villafranca Padovana (PD).
During her artistic experience, she participated in national and international exhibitions.
In 2018 she was selected at various prizes: Acqui Prize, XIV International Engraving Biennal,
Acqui Terme; Foyer Fiic, International festival of contemporary engraving, Foyer Space, Trento.
In 2017 she was selected for the 101 Collettive Bevilacqua La Masa, Venezia; CBM Art Prize,
Torino; Combat Prize, Livorno; and she exhibited in her first personal at Gallery La Roggia,
Pordenone.
In 2016 she exhibited at the collective of graphic art Vivarium in Magazzini del Sale, Venezia; she
also exhibited by invitation at Mirror Face to Face Italy-Macedonia, international exhibitions of
engraving in Vicenza, Belluno, Bitola.
In 2015 she was selected at various Prize conferences: Prize Giuseppe Maestri, Bagnacavallo;
Prize Fibrenus Carnello Carte ad Arte, Sora; International biennal of contemporary engraving in
Bassano del Grappa.
In the same year she worked as performer in the art work “The Probable Trust Registry” of the
artist Adrian Piper, winner of the Golden Lion at 56th International exhibition of art in the Venice
Biennale
